my\u3046\u3061\u305d\u3068 has been developed by the team at Christ Bible Institute<\/a> (CBI) in Nagoya, Japan. In particular, the project is a collaboration between CBI Media<\/a> (a ministry of CBI) and CBI Press<\/a> (the publishing arm of \u4e00\u822c\u793e\u56e3\u6cd5\u4ebaCBI).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CBI is a team of overseas missionaries and Japanese national workers, committed to sharing and living out the Gospel in and for Japan. CBI\u2019s vision is to see the Gospel of the glory of Christ cherished and proclaimed throughout Japan, and my\u3046\u3061\u305d\u3068 is part of our mission to equip Christians in Japan for the work of gospel ministry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The original concept for my\u3046\u3061\u305d\u3068 arose from a CBI project team established in early 2023 with the aim of developing new evangelistic resources for Japan. CBI missionary Richard Brash came up with the idea of telling the Gospel story through the lens of the Japanese socio-cultural concepts of uchi<\/em> (inside) and soto<\/em> (outside).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The text of the my\u3046\u3061\u305d\u3068 resources was written primarily by Yuko Brash (booklet and Leader\u2019s Guide manga<\/em>) and Richard Brash (Bible studies). Since 2020 Yuko has worked as a writer, translator, and editor with CBI Media and CBI Press. She has more than a decade of previous experience in evangelism among Japanese people, primarily in the UK. Richard is a missionary and theologian who serves on the faculty at Christ Bible Seminary in Nagoya. He also has many years of experience in evangelism with Japanese people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Other CBI team members contributed significant input on the written and visual content in the initial committee stages of drafting the materials, especially Brett Rayl, Karis Fukuda, Paul Kang, and Will Ruck (all members of the original project team). The project team was later joined by Kuni Hotta and Rebecca Dennison. Will Ruck co-ordinated and edited video content, and Rebecca Dennison created and curates the my\u3046\u3061\u305d\u3068 website. Other current CBI team members who have particularly worked on the project include Mark Kim (publicity) and Rachel Kim (English editing).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Artwork for the resources was commissioned by CBI to outside partners. All the artwork for the published materials (booklet and Leader\u2019s Guide manga) was drawn by artist Masumi Noda<\/a>. The my\u3046\u3061\u305d\u3068 logo was created by designer John Ruffin<\/a>. Additional design of the published materials was by Masaru Nagao<\/a> at Logos Design.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

my\u3046\u3061\u305d\u3068 is funded by the generous gifts of supporting churches and individuals, mostly outside Japan. This support enables us to distribute the resources free of charge to anyone who requests them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
