I participated in “my Uchi-Soto Bible Study” while it was still in the development stage. After going through this study, I decided to get baptized. Of course, it wasn’t only “my Uchi-Soto” that led me to that decision—it was also because of the warmth I experienced from everyone at the church I attended. When I first visited the church, someone kindly spoke to me. There was a fun youth group, people who prayed for me, and the pastor’s family treated me with care. All of those experiences made me want to become a Christian. Through “my Uchi-Soto Bible Study,” I was glad to learn about Christian ways of thinking and what Christians believe.

The developer of “my Uchi-Soto” came to our church and offered to lead a session during our youth gathering, so I joined the “my Uchi-Soto Bible Study” as well. I had heard that it organizes the Bible into “inside” and “outside” themes, but I had no idea what that would be like at first. However, the study was very thoughtfully structured, and I personally discovered many new insights. The “opening questions” and “closing questions” prompted me to reflect even after the sessions ended, and I looked forward to each new study. Also, the illustrations in the themed booklet helped me recall the content just by looking at them, which was great. Because this study material allows me to share about God with people close to me who are interested in the Bible, I hope to keep using it and learn together with others as well.
